Surface finish for flexible packaging

MatteFX advanced surface finish technology, from Alcan Packaging Food, is a matte lacquer system that produces special finish effects on flexible packaging.

MatteFX technology allows brand owners to alternate matte and gloss finishes on the same package. MatteFX can be used on flexible films and pouches for a wide range of food and packaged goods applications. The surface finish technology is also compatible with Alcan's 10-color flexographic and rotogravure printing and LaserTear® laser scoring.
