Hot-fill PET bottles

Novapak’s PET beverage bottle in 12-oz. and 20-oz. sizes features ribs and panels that provide strength and stability for hot filling, and resist deformation during stacking and distribution.

Both containers are molded of monolayer PET resin and can be filled at temperatures to 185∞F (85∞C). The 12-oz. container is 6.5-in. high and 2.482-in. in diameter, has a 38MM VAJ neck, and weighs 27 grams. The 20-oz. container is 7.992-in. high and 2.880-in. in diameter, has a 38MM VAJ neck, and weighs 36 grams. The containers weigh approximately 90 percent less than comparable glass containers.
