The new Eagle FA from Smiths Detection is an advanced fat analysis X-ray system for all types of meat and poultry.
System uses Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry technology to enable real-time scanning of both meat and poultry for foreign objects and meat composition. The company offers in-line versions for both bulk and boxed meat inspection. System enables inspection and processing at speeds to 160 tons/hr, whether product is fresh or frozen. Includes a rejection device that ensures foreign objects are removed from production, and also allows automatic calibration in less than a minute.
