Thermochromic ink

From InkJet, Inc. comes the new 60 ink, a general purpose thermochromic ink designed to change color from black to blue during the retort process.

Suitable for printing on metal cans and plastic bottles before retort, the ink can withstand the retort process with minimal effect on the printed message. Designed to operate in Videojet printers, ink holds a 12-month shelf life and has a dry time of fewer than 1-3 sec.
