Toronto-based Cargo Cosmetics Corp. has received a DuPont Silver Award for design and development of individually sealed, blister-packs of DailyGloss™ lip gloss.

The perforated, easy-open, litho-printed, 12-point foil stock blister sheets are supplied by Klocke of America, Inc. (www.klocke.com) and are marketed in recyclable clear plastic clamshells containing a 30-day supply complete with application brush. The individually sealed packaging reduces the amount of product waste and contamination.

Cargo introduced the new DailyGloss lip gloss packaging concept to the market place in October 2004, and reports that market response has been tremendous.
