Insect-Free Packaging

Now available from Michelman is BugBan™ 9000, a cost-effective, water-based repulpable coating for paper and paperboard substrates that is said to reduce liability associated with insects found in packaging.

Designed to not just repel insects for the entire life of the package, but to effectively eliminate them before they can penetrate the package. Coating is EPA-approved for use on outside of corrugated surfaces, folding cartons, wood, and corrugated pallets in the transport of food.
