High-speed thermal printer

The new 55sst Thermal Express from Norwood is a versatile&#44 high-speed thermal transfer printer that prints fixed and/or variable data on a range of flexible packaging materials including films and label substrates.

Operates in either intermittent- or continuous-motion mode with quick conversion. Patented ribbon handling system is said to maximize print quality while achieving high throughput in challenging environments. Operates at speeds to 1 mm/sec in continuous-motion mode and to 600 mm/sec in intermittent-motion mode.
