RFID upgradability

Weber Marking Systems’ new RFID Ready program makes it possible for companies to obtain Weber label printers and printer/ applicators that can be upgraded to include RFID technology when needed.

Participating models which include select stand-alone printers and the Model 5200 printer/ applicator can be modified for easy upgrade to multiprotocol endcoders that support EPC-compatible and other ultra-high-frequency standards. Those encoders will support protocols that are the most current at the time of conversion.
