Weber Marking Systems announced that its subsidiary company&#44 Tape & Label Engineering&#44 will be consolidated as a Weber label manufacturing facility.

Smurfit-Stone Container Corp. signed a strategic alliance agreement with Winterborne Inc. a service product packaging manufacturer. The alliance will enhance Smurfit-Stone’s i2i™ business unit’s ability to offer complete merchandising solutions by further expanding into the thermoform packaging and fulfillment areas.

Massman Automation Designs LLC acquired Applied Automation which will now operate as Massman Engineering LLC.

Printpack reached an agreement to purchase the assets of PBM Plastics.

B&H Labeling Systems incorporated in Mexico under the name B H Labeling Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. and have opened an office in Mexico City.

Paragon Films will open a 40 sq’ manufacturing facility in Alexander County NC with production scheduled to begin in late October 2005.

SunJet the digital division of Sun Chemical established a full-service manufacturing and technical support facility in Amelia OH.

Crown Bevcan Europe & Middle East an affiliate of Crown Holdings Inc. completed construction of its new 15 sq’ beverage can facility in North Africa.

Schneider Packaging Equipment Co. Inc. announced an integration agreement with Fanuc Robotics America Inc.

ExxonMobil Chemical France will expanded by 50% the capacity of its Escorez 5000 hydrogenated tackifier plant in Notre-Dame-de-Gravenchon. Completion is expected in early 2007.
