Slider zipper for large vf/f/s bags

UVA Packaging has launched the Newton 400&#44 a vf/f/s machine that applies Slider zippers from Zip-Pak to large-format block-bottom bags. Machine applies the Slider technology to the top of the pack in the transverse&#44 or cross-web direction.

A 10# pet food bag in block-bottom configuration with corner seals can be fitted with a Slider zipper and easy-open perforation at speeds to 45 bags/min. Machine is equipped with high-quality modular construction for maximum flexibility. Operators can easily switch between corner-sealed block bottom bottom seal pillow air deflation and bag-in-bag packaging formats without tools.
