Dispensing closure

A recent switch from a press-on&#44 flip-top closure to a 33-mm threaded Flapper™ closure from Weatherchem has brought dispensing convenience and ease of use to users of Necta Sweet Sugar Substitute.
By ,

“Opening the previous closure left the mouth of the bottle completely opened and pouring just one or two tablets from that large opening was difficult” says Paul Przybyla business manager for Deerfield IL-based NSI Sweeteners Inc. the owner of the Necta Sweet brand. “The Flapper cap opens half way and it has a small lip that slows the tablets down as they’re dispensed. It makes it much easier to dispense the small number of tablets that people typically use.”

Also an improvement especially to seniors with limited manual dexterity is the lift-and-peel flap on the induction-sealed TE foil liner. “It’s easier to grasp and lift as opposed to cutting through the other types of seals” says Przybyla. He adds that the new closure is priced about the same as the one it replaced.
