Straw-in-pouch system

PakSource Global&#44 LLC&#44 marketed in the U.S. by PPi Technologies&#44 has introduced a patented straw-in-premade-pouch system. The shaped stand-up pouch is made on a NISHIBE high-speed&#44 double-step machine at 600 pouches/min.

A straw is inserted into the pouch and sealed at a 45° angle allowing the pouch to be hot-filled through the top seal with beverage and then sealed on a PSG ABT machine.
