Controller/motion module

Rockwell Automation has introduced a new module that combines an Allen-Bradley® 1756-L6x family ControlLogix® controller with a Sercos interface™ motion module.

This new combo module is a cost-effective option for OEMs and end users who require the performance and functionality of the ControlLogix platform as well as motion control capabilities for small machines with few axes of motion. The new combo module provides control for three axes of ControlLogix integrated motion. Users can also add a second motion interface module in the ControlLogix rack-for up to six axes total.
