Pizza film

Pechiney Plastic Packaging (Chicago&#44 IL) introduces a downgauged version of its pizza film. With an approximate 10% top web reduction and 20% bottom reduction&#44 film is said to provide customers greater cost advantages while retaining performance.

Film’s structure has excellent thermoforming and resistance to flex cracking while maintaining the benefits of clarity and peelablity. Film keeps food in place and is ideal for packaging meats boil-in-bag soups and other frozen foods. Film combines patented nylon coextrusion technology with peelable sealant technology to improve overall package integrity at a significant cost savings.
