Reclosable cap can

Adding resealability to an aluminum can is the patented Cap Can from Dayton Systems Group (Miamisburg&#44 OH). More economical in cans from 16 oz and up&#44 the new can end in 206 and 209 sizes (300 size to come) has a threaded dome with a removable lug cap. Preliminary market tests have already been done&#44 and an unidentified user will have product on the market by early this year.

Cans will accept CSDs or hot-filled products. Requires little investment by canmaker; only end seamer may need modification.
