Aseptic liquid processing technology

Weiler Engineering (Elgin&#44 IL) has designed Asep-Tech® aseptic liquid processing technology for parenteral drug products. The Model 640 blow/fill/seal machine incorporates the 3-step process of blow molding&#44 aseptic filling&#44 and hermetic sealing of liquid products in one sequential operation.

Machine is capable of high-volume production of 2- 3- and 5-mL ampoules and is capable of producing 10 5-mL containers/hr. Ampoules are available in HDPE LDPE and PP. Machine can also produce complete sterile liquid-filled tamper-evident packages in sizes ranging from 0.5 to 500 mL.
