The robotic palletizing system from APS (New Freedom&#44 PA) palletizes both bags and taped boxes simultaneously from multiple production lines with patent-pending tooling and vacuum controls.

System palletizes output for 2 bag production lines and a carton production line for a food-ingredient application. System throughput is more than 24 packages/min and up to 576 tons per 8-hour shift. Handles 50- to 100-lb bags with differing product density and headspace. Also all system requirements and settings are stored in the PLC memory for each SKU. Picks and places pallets trays and slip sheets.
