Updated olive oil label

In a change from the days when its olive oil was sold from the back of a truck in the farmer’s market&#44 Calio Groves decided to update the look of its V.G.

Buck Olive Oil to compete on a national level. The Fairfield CA-based company turned to Axion Design Inc. (San Anselmo CA) to revitalize its sepia-colored old-fashioned label design. The designers at Axion gave the label a more dynamic proprietary brandmark a stronger shelf impact improved category cues and “fresh flavorful” illustrations. Designed for three individual grades of olive oil as well as three different blends the label is flexo-printed in eight colors.
