(Columbus OH) has been recognized for its dedication and documentation of its safety and health programs by OSHA’s SHARP certification standards. —Eastapak Aqua polymers from Eastman Chemical Co. (Kingsport TN) have been NSF Internationally certified for use in producing returnable/reusable containers. —Pactiv Corp.’s (Lake Forest IL) design laboratory recently received the International Safe Transit Assn.’s Laboratory Certification. —Transilwrap Co. Inc. (Franklin Park IL) has been awarded sole distributorship of the entire packaging films line of DuPont Teijin Films in the United States. —The Graphic Arts Education and Research Foundation has approved 7 new grants for 2001 to the following universities and associations: California Polytechnic State University; Georgia Southern University; California State University; Technology Student Assn.; Intl. Graphic Arts Education Assn.; Ball State University; and The University of Wisconsin-Stout. —The Research and Engineering Council of the Graphic Arts Industry (White Stone VA) has recently celebrated 50 years of service.
