ExxonMobil Chemical Co. (Houston, TX) has developed a metallocene-catalyzed, very low-density (0.912 g/cc) Exceed™ polyethylene MVLDPE grade resin that is used to manufacture extrusion-blown film for flexible food packaging applications.
Allows fabricators to develop film structures with lower sealing temperatures (85°C) resulting in faster seal-times and line speeds says company.
