Because it is able to detect metal&#44 paper&#44 clear film and any type of label&#44 the LRD6100 sensor from Lion Precision (St. Paul&#44 MN) can function as the only sensor on a line running various labels&#44 according to the company.

The sensor’s response time is 10 microsec.
