Counterfeit protection

Smurfit-Stone Container (Chicago&#44 IL) and Isotag Technology (Houston&#44 TX) have created the MasterGuard™ system&#44 a line of anticounterfeit and traceable packaging.

The system involves 2 products AuthentiPak and TrackPak. AuthentiPak uses a chemical tag and a molecular identification code. With TrackPak an invisible ink is applied to the package with a destination code to be verified with a laser-based viewing device.
