Grease/oil barrier packaging

Rock-Tenn (Norcross&#44 GA) has announced that its Stainless News™ fluorochemical-treated paperboard will no longer contain perfluorooctanyl (PFOS). The company has developed alternative solutions for paperboard products that require barrier or masking protection from grease or oil.

In addition to mill-applied fluorochemical and fluorochemical alternatives Rock-Tenn products will include a patented grease mask system press-applied barrier coatings and laminations and extrusions.
