Barrier films

A line of forming and nonforming rollstock for the meat processing industry is available from Inovpack (Totowa&#44 NJ). The blown coextruded film contains nylon and DuPont’s (Wilmington&#44 DE) Surlyn® among its 5 proprietary layers.

The nonforming web is 4 mils the forming web 8 mils. Suitable for cook-in hams. Available in clear or printed with red to resemble netting.
