Printable tape applicator
The 3M-Matic™ Print and Seal Applicator PS2000 from 3M (St. Paul, MN) combines sealing and labeling functions in one system. Uses a thermal printer to print custom text, logos, graphics and bar codes directly on PP sealing tape on boxes, eliminating the need for separate labels.
Designed for closing topseams of regular-slotted cases at speeds to 15 cases/min the machine uses water-resistant tape that is linerless and comes in long rolls that need changing infrequently.
