Water-based adhesive
H.B. Fuller (St. Paul, MN) has developed a water-based adhesive for folding carton and converting applications. Excelerator(TM) is made of proprietary emulsion polymers that have a high wet tack, fast production speeds and fast setting speed for shorter compression time.
With good heat and water resistance the adhesive is suitable for a variety of substrates and folding-carton applications. The adhesives are designed to fluoresce under black light making them easy to detect during application.
