General purpose PS

BASF's Polystyrene Business Group (Mount Olive&#44 NJ) has introduced 166H&#44 a new high-molecular weight&#44 general-purpose PS suitable for blending with HIPS and clear SBS block copolymers.

Typical end-use applications include thin-walled tumblers CD jewel boxes bottles office accessories and displays. The resin can be extruded or injection- or blow-molded.
