Indexing servo drives

Rockwell Automation/Electro-Craft (Eden Prairie&#44 MN) has added indexing functionality to its BRU-Series Advantage Line family of digital servo drives.

Permits the drive to act as a simple controller for point-to-point positioning eliminating the need for a dedicated motion controller or PLC servo and stepper control cards. Supports incremental positioning registration and absolute positioning.
