Country-of-origin labeling on the fast track?
The Clinton Administration is fighting for renewal of its fast-track negotiating authority in international trade. AFFI which argues such labeling is contrary to U.S. trade policy cited the U.S.'s objection in 1994 to Korean proposed front panel origin requirements which that country finally withdrew.
