Vision system for beverages

Cap application and beverage fill defects can be detected using the 51R41 vision system from White Cap (Downers Grove&#44 IL). Unlike conventional systems that visually inspect with mechanical "squeeze methods&#44" the 51R41 uses a PC-controlled video camera to check bottles for defects at a 4/1000" resolution.

An air-actuated reject device removes defective containers from the conveyor. Operates at speeds to 800 bottles/min. Bottle size changeovers are handled with a switch without tools.
