Cognex (Natick&#44 MA) has introduced two high-performance machine vision systems. The Checkpoint 800 is an easy-to-use box level or VMEbus-based system.

The Cognex 5600 is a C-programmable PC plug-in vision system. Both use Cognex's new hardware and software technology for high speeds and accuracies. Applications include verifying and inspecting print on consumer packaging and pharmaceutical labels as well as detecting flaws and defects on glass or plastic bottles.
