PE resin

Eastman Chemical Co. (Kingsport&#44 TN) has introduced Mxsten CV plastomer&#44 a new class of PE resin for high-performance food packaging and other packaging applications.

The resin is said to combine good low-temperature sealability with high stiffness. It can be extruded on current blown and cast film lines or processed into films. The plastomer provides reduced bag failures related to seal performance and puncture resistance and meets the requirements of U.S. FDA regulations for use in food-cooking applications.
