Packaging is key with Le Whif, a breathable chocolate invented by Harvard professor David Edwards. According to James Norton on CHOW.com's Supertaster, the chocolate taste is inhaled into your mouth through a tube-like canister—the particles are too big to enter your lungs. While the taste appears to be authentic and quite tasty, it is "fleeting." The 1-calorie chocolate burst costs $3 for 4 puffs—which includes shipping and handling from France. Supertaster Norton comments that the product "talks a great game," but leaves you feeling "a little bit ripped off." Other flavors include raspberry chocolate and mint chocolate with coffee. Le Whif Coffee is also available, providing the same amount of caffeine as an espresso, according to the inventor.
