Secure OTC packaging

SecureOTC from Colbert Packaging is designed to prevent retail pilferage and promote proper usage for over-the-counter medications.

The patent-pending SecureOTC package combines a blister card within an outer folding carton for an all-in-one packaging solution for tablets, capsules, vitamins and other pills. The blister card is securely sealed within the outer carton. SecureOTC locks the blister card within the outer carton. To open, the consumer lifts the back flap and pulls a zipper to access the blister card. This process allows the medication to be removed without damaging the outer carton, which can contain essential drug facts, dosing instructions, warnings and expiration dates. RF-EAS Source Tagging Sensors can also be applied to packages during production.
