Modified EVOH

Improved barrier layers in multilayer packaging structures can now be achieved by modifying EVOH with Surlyn® AM 7926 or Selar® PA UX 2034 from DuPont Packaging and Industrial Polymers (Wilmington, DE).

Surlyn AM 7926 is a new ionomer grade for improved toughness flexibility thermoformability and impact properties. Selar PA UX 2034 offers good oxygen barrier under high humidity.
