Pregis Corporation: PP sheet foam protects metal
Microfoam® from Pregis is a low-density high coefficient of friction (COF) polypropylene (PP) sheet foam that protects metal surfaces during transit.
Microfoam’s high COF means that it clings to metal surfaces on lighting fixtures, automotive components (wheels, trim, etc.), furniture, window frames, sporting equipment, jewelry, etc. Microfoam also provides vapor transmission,and thermal insulation, as well as void fill and interleaving. The chemically-inert material won’t tarnish or corrode sensitive metals. Available in 3 stock sizes (1/32-, 1/16-, 3/32-in.). Custom options are also available. Manufactured with 40% less resin than the same thickness in polyethylene, and is lighter weight than small air cushioning at equal square footage. Recyclable and photodegradable. 320∞F melt point.
