Diamond-pattern pail cuts 20% off

REPORTING FROM PACK EXPO: Grupo Zapata (Mexico) claims its new plastic pail offers 20% cost reduction and 20% weight reduction when compared to standard pails. Showcased it the booth, the new container features structural diamond-patterned ridges on the sidewalls to provide added strength.

Zapata installed new injection molding equipment from Husky (Bolton Ontario Canada) to run the FDA-approved container which is molded 2-up. Introduced in Fall 2000 a variety of pails are available that can contain 4 to 20 liters of product.
