CCL Label (Itasca, IL) and Stone Container Corp. (Westmont, IL) have created Stone Seal(TM), a flexible, label-like PP pouch that affixes to the backside of box access holes.

The pouch serves as a contamination barrier from foreign objects that without the pouch make their way into the box through the die-cut hand holes. End users of Stone Seal include companies that ship products directly to consumers such as electronics food and drug and health items. The pouch is applied with a permanent adhesive on Stone Container's boxmaking equipment at their locations.
