Amcor Flexibles: Child-resistant tear-open pack

This CR and senior friendly tear-open feature for pharmaceutical packaging requires no tear notch. Instead, Amcor Flexibles’ pack employs a print-registered tear initiation point.
FILED IN:  Package Type  > Bags/pouches

The printed tear indicator is accompanied by text instructions and may be used as a standalone feature or combined with a “fold first” or “squeeze first” operation. Pack tears easily but only at the area designated by the printer indicator and text. Can be used for pouches sachets and tear sticks for both OTC and prescription drugs in applications such as powder liquids and oral dissolve strips.
