Gallon offers benefits such as increased cubing efficiency when palletizing, compared to round gallons, as well as a pinch-grip feature for easy pouring and a wider front facing for greater shelf impact. The smaller sizes offer a lighter-weight, 5-panel design alternative to traditional 6-panel stock bottles, minimizing “ovalization” of the bottles. Enhancements to the bottles' rib structure also increase top load performance and stability. Suitable applications include juices, isotonics, teas, functional waters, and other beverages requiring hot filling.
