Packaging boosts a margarine's brand

Benevita Margarine—with its highly beneficial fatty acids obtained from evening primrose seeds--has had a major impact on health-conscious consumers in Poland since June 2011, and the package does a good job of announcing the product’s unique health benefits.

Greiner Packaging, the container and lid supplier, has achieved a balanced combination of decorating formats. The thermoformed polypropylene cup for the 225-g contents takes a shrink sleeve label. A shrink sleeve that fits perfectly to the cup’s shape under the influence of heat is used for this purpose to allow full surface decoration of the container’s sidewalls.

Greiner Packaging also thermoforms the PP friction-fit lid and applies to it a pressure-sensitive film label. The label on the lid reinforces the message of the sidewall decoration and supplements it with additional information. The lid is colored in the same shade of green that gives the entire package its unmistakable healthful appeal.  A label with the printed product information and barcode is placed on the cup bottom.
