High shelf impact for probiotic drinks
GoodBelly Splash, a new line of single-serve fruit-based, probiotic beverages from Next Foods, Boulder, CO, is being packaged in 10-oz HDPE bottles rendered highly shelf-attractive by eight-color flexo-printed, 360-deg shrink-sleeve labels from Printpack.
The Pure Affinia™ PETG film labels incorporate Printpack’s Colorpack™ prepress separation technology to enhance graphic details and color vibrancy.
Next Foods spokesperson Wendy Goldner reports that the labeling system was developed by Next Foods in conjunction with Printpack and bottle decorator Verst Group Logistics, a specialist in applying shrink-wrap labels to bottles and cans. Tamper-evident plastic screw-top caps are supplied by Portola Packaging. GoodBelly flavors include Blueberry Acai, Mango, and Pomegranate Blackberry.
