Sun Chemical introduces its Solarcat, an advanced cationic UV-flexo ink that the company says cures two times faster than other UV-flexo inks on the market.

Improvements include higher cure speed lower humidity sensitivity and low press room odor; additionally the product does not create hazardous photoinitiator byproducts in the curing process. Inks also have high shrink film performances of up to 80% and are retortable without loss of adhesion. A high color strength gives excellent mileage and allows for the use of fine aniloxes for high fidelity printing company says.
