Shrink labels dress up new smoothies

Brown Cow Farm, Antioch, CA, a member of the Londonderry, NH-based Stonyfield Farm family, has adopted shrink labels supplied by Seal-It, Inc. (www.sealitinc.com) for its new low-fat yogurt smoothies.

The 32-oz high-density polyethylene bottles use heat-shrink PETG full-body labels featuring distinctive graphics. Labels are reverse-printed gravure in 10 colors. Stonyfield spokesperson Maureen Wolpert itemizes several benefits of the new shrink labels noting they enable rich graphic imagery provide colors to quickly establish flavor variety (red for strawberry and blue for plain) and add overall shelf interest to attract greater consumer attention.
