Sealed Air Corporation: High-abuse shrink film
CorTuff™ high-abuse shrink film from the Shrink Packaging Div. of Sealed Air (Duncan, SC) possesses unprecedented impact strength, company says. Film can be used to wrap an array of heavy, odd-shaped products such as machine parts, furniture, and fabricated metals, as well as books, CDs, and DVDs.
Other applications include multiproduct unitizing high-abuse surface protection heavy product retention and pilferage protection. Film completely shrinks while in the heat tunnel at temperatures that are 40% lower than skin packaging and thick-mil PE company says.
