Sleeve labels boost new Disney line

Five popular Disney characters come to life in the new line of Sun Pals tanning lotions and sprays from No-Ad Suncare of Miami Gardens, FL. The 6-oz squeezable bottles, which retail for about $9.00, are decorated with 2-mil PETG heat-shrinkable film labels from Ameri-Seal (www.ameri-seal.com).

Ameri-Seal gravure-prints the labels and applies them to the high-density polyethylene bottles at its Chatsworth CA contract packaging facility. The PETG film was specified because the bottle tops narrow dramatically which calls for the wider range of shrinkage that PETG is known for.

According to Suzanne Lang of No-Ad the line was tested first at 1 Wal-Mart stores. It’s now been launched nationally and internationally for the 2006 suncare season.
