A 353-page report on on packaging in the Japanese market up to 1994 covers virtually every category of product relating to packaging. It has been published by Japan Packaging Consultants Corp.
and is available through Intercon (Crooked River Ranch OR). Overall sales of packaging in Japan recovered last year to the level achieved back in 1990 after two years of declines. The report includes sales figures and analysis for 100 categories of packaging materials and machinery including metallized films (shown in the accompanying table). The report is available for $435.
