Rexam Medical Packaging's (Vernon Hills, IL) new Integra® Peel LFM laminations incorporate a coextruded blown film as an alternative to a coating as the peelable heat-seal layer for packaging applications involving radiation sterilization.
These laminations can incorporate film foil or paper and are available in preformed pouches or rollstock. Key properties include peel consistency over a broad sealing range customized peel strength and evidence of seal integrity upon opening. Suitable for packaging gloves syringes dressings IV sets and other pharmaceutical and medical items.
