MAP tray

Linpac (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) has introduced a modified-atmosphere package called Linfresh® for food processors. The trays are thermoformed of EPS with an oxygen and moisture barrier film laminated to the surface.

The design features steep tray walls for greater depth and a narrow flange. Because the trays use less space the company says gross shipment weights can be increased by 30%. Trays are sized to hold 1 to 5 lb of product.
