Low-gel LLDPE

ExxonMobil has commercialized 2 low-gel grades of Exceed™ LLDPE, specifically designed for high-quality lamination and coextrusion film applications.

Exceed 1018LC and Exceed 1018LE are said to improve film processing optical properties and sealing and tear-resistance. Gel content is measured using a state-of-the-art optical gel detection camera system which consistently and reliably detects and classifies gels.
